Mary Stillwell Dies After Lingering Illness in New Paris
Mrs. Mary Stillwell aged about 67 died yesterday at the Blanchard hotel New Paris after asthma and heart trouble. She was widow of B. F. Stillwell formerly of Milford. Survived by daughter Mrs Henry Mieger and three grandchildren. Funeral Sunday at 10 at Mrs Blanchard's home conducted by Rev W E Groves.
Anniversary Reception for Woman's Musical Club Milestone
The Woman's Musical Club marked its fifth anniversary with a three to five o'clock reception at Mrs. John Gortner's home. About 240 members attended as officers from the prior year and newly elected officers were introduced. The club, which began with 110 members, now more than doubled in size and counts nearly every prominent Goshen musician among its ranks.

The Wilden property on Walnut Hill sold yesterday to P. R. Judkins of Chicago from the Strausees of Ligonier for 6000. The four acre tract includes the Wilden mansion to be torn down for a new home costing 310,000 to 312,000. Judkins, with his wife and daughter of J. W. Richardson, plans to move to Goshen and abandon California plans.

Jesse W. Motte aged 68 a bachelor died at his St Louis home last evening after a critical illness. He leaves two sisters Mrs Louis H Noble of Goshen and Mrs Mary Maxfield of Mankato Minn and a daughter Mary Motte in West Virginia. Motte retired from clothing business and left an estimated 500000 in estate. He owned the building occupied by Shoup Kohler.

Traction firm to build main power house at Ontario Indiana
Due to water shortages in LaGrange the Goshen Indiana Traction Co plans a main power plant at Ontario LaGrange County using Pig Eye river for condensation. Engines will need 3000 gallons per minute. Car shops may be built at LaGrange to support the venture. Terry and Bremen have road bed contracts near Nevada and report progress as weather limits work.
