Concord and Oloso the only townships of sixteen to be carried by the wets. Elkhart County results show a dry victory with 43 saloons voting against alcohol and a strong wets showing in the two townships.

Death notices for Busghan and Diehl with burial plans
William Busghan 80 died at noon yesterday at 521 South Main Street. He immigrated from Germany in 1868, widow for 20 years, had a daughter Minnie Clark who died 17 years ago. Funeral Sunday 2:30 from the house with Rev. Betz, Oak Ridge Cemetery. John Diehl 84 died Wednesday evening at three miles north of Bristol after 45 years in Washington township. He leaves three daughters Adaline Lutz W Wilt and Charles Meiser, and two sons Richard and Revere Diehl.
Blaze at McNamera Blacksmith Shop on West Jefferson
At 12 30 this afternoon the fire department responded to a blaze at the McNamera blacksmith shop on West Jefferson between Main and Third. The fire began in a pile of kindling wood in the southwest corner, produced dense smoke, and appeared serious but was soon subdued. The building, once owned by Christian Klein and now owned by Samuel Stutsman, sustained nominal damage aside from the roof.
