Jonas Shank age about 85 died Sunday at his daughter Mrs Cephas Hostetler’s home in Millersburg after a long illness chiefly due to old age. Born November 20 1815 in Rockingham County Virginia he moved to Indiana in 1836 and farmed at the Forks until recently. Surviving are three daughters Mrs Jane Short Mrs Cephas Hostetler Mrs C C Method and Everett Shank of Fish Lake a son. two sons and one daughter are dead. Funeral Tuesday at 9 10 oclock from the house and church at Fish Lake with Rev Miller officiating Eldridge cemetery burial.
