George Gerard of Pennsylvania a brake man was found dead along the Hamlet Indiana tracks. His body was taken to Fort Wayne where authorities report evidence of foul play in the death.

The Knights of Honor based in St Louis and the Order of Patricians in Benton Harbor were denied Indiana licenses to operate. Patricians faced suspension due to unpaid losses exceeding admitted assets, with losses at 1905 totaling 5110,000 and assets 650,837. The Knights of Honor show declining business with 1905 assets 52,082.8 and liabilities 721,919.64, of which nearly all are unpaid losses. 1,292 Indiana policyholders were recorded.
Reverend D J A Maxwell presiding elder of the South Bend Methodist district died at Vincent's hospital Indianapolis following surgery for a bladder obstruction. He had been in frail health for weeks and had traveled from South Bend for treatment. His condition was more serious than expected after the operation.
