Following a supreme court decision on the 78 payment mortgage plan the Metropolitan Building and Loan Association dismissed Messick and Prahi suits, paying costs and delivering related mortgage papers. Other cases and mortgages due have been released. one claimant, Mrs. Knapp, settled with her attorneys though a balance remains. Davis, Hubbell & Davis had filed for the actions.

Milford youth Arthur Griffith to showcase memory feats in St Louis

Fire destroys York Township dwelling of John Replogle
A two story frame house owned by John Replogle in York Township burned completely last night with its contents. Replogle, who moved to Goshen last fall and lives on the North Side, vacated the home which had stood idle. The origin is unknown and arson is suspected. Nearby property was saved after a fierce blaze. Replogle held a policy with Elkhart County Farmers Mutual, unlikely to cover the loss.

Grist Mill Destroyed Near Wolcottville in Fire
