Word reached Goshen that James Lane formerly of Goshen died in Santa Maria California on January 30 after months of ill health. He lived in Goshen most of his life and spent last summer in a Chicago hospital. He went to his mother’s home in Santa Maria a week before his death. He was about 50 and was brother of Tom Lane and Mrs Wesley Larimer.
