Ex Superintendent Middleton Surrenders on Malice Trespass Charge
Henry A. Middleton former superintendent of Western Rubber Works turned himself in after a warrant issued by stockholder Theodore Garvin charging malice trespass. Prosecutors say he entered the factory on March 3 and destroyed 10 boxes and shelves by mixing chemicals and removing labels, causing about $1,000 in damage. He posted $500 bond, with Sureties James S. Dodge and Peter D. Berkey. If convicted, penalties include up to 12 months in jail and fines up to $2,000.

Boy Severely Injured at Goshen Plant
Joseph Gephart about fourteen was injured near a rip saw at Goshen Sack and Door Co. He had his left thumb and forefinger severed and the band badly lacerated. Doctors Ash and Ash dressed the wound. the injury is very painful.

Pinkerton Detectives Say Laporte Bank Robbery Suspects Probably Innocent

Bar Tenders Death and Army Mobilization Report
Charles Wakeman, once a case saloon tender in Weyburn building, was killed in Three Rivers Michigan last week with a crushed head and severed arm. Surviving children number three.
