A stranger calling himself Ira Milton robbed Rogers & Wilson’s music store at 132 South Main last evening. He looted the cash from the safe after aiding Roscoe to unlock it, then fled north toward Lincoln avenue. Police issued a $25 reward. Ira Milton could not be found in South Bend, Goshen, or nearby towns.

Death of Aged Lady Elizabeth Weaver in Clinton Township
Mrs. Elizabeth Weaver died at 2:30 AM at her son Elder John Weaver's home in Clinton township after two weeks of illness. The 83 year old native of Starke county Ohio settled in this county in 1865 on the farm where she died. Survived by three sons and three daughters, 21 grandchildren, a brother Jonas Eshelman of North Lawrence, and her husband Elder Levi Weaver who died thirteen years ago. Also a sister Mrs John Hoover died January 6 this year.

Victims in Fatal Rail Crossing Near Donaldson
Mr and Mrs John Baker were killed instantly near Donaldson Marshall county while crossing the railroad in a one horse wagon. They lived just west of Donaldson. He was about 70 and she about 65. The accident involved the westbound Pennsylvania Flyer.
