Around 11:30 last night two burglars forced entry at the Bernice Heefner and Elvira Thomas home at Fifth and Washington. They ransacked rooms, lit a lamp on the lower floor, and fled after a gunfight with Officers Ellott and Banta, leaving behind a hat and rubber. no theft traced yet.

Serious Condition Reported After Dog Bite Incidents
Dr. Elmer E. Asch states Mrs. Thomas Paff, Mrs. Frank La count, and the child bitten by Thomas Paff's vicious dog are in very serious condition. They were injured worse than reported yesterday. A portion of the dog's spinal column was removed and sent to the Pasteur Institute.

Rodibaugh Rites Held for Local Resident at Rodibaugh Church
RopiBauGH Alonza Rodibaugh aged about 53 died at he home one mile north of New Paris after a long illness. He was born in the house where he died and lived there all his life. He married Martha Leedy in 1874 and six children were born, four surviving Blanche Vera Edgars and Ralph Rodibaugh. Surviving brothers and sisters include Mrs. M. M. Galentine of this city. Funeral is Thursday at 2 PM at the Rodibaugh church with Rev. Stoope of New Paris officiating.
