Jacob D. Rohrer of Clinton township died at his home eight miles east of Goshen at 9 o clock from stomach trouble. Born in Holmes county Ohio, he lived in Clinton township about 50 years and served as trustee from 1878 to 1882 and 1886 to 1890. He was a Democratic candidate for county assessor in 1892. Survived by seven children, a brother, and three sisters. Funeral arrangements will be announced later.
