The Stephenson interests of South Bend have bought the Goshen Rubber Works plant from J. A. Swinehart of Akron for 7500 dollars. A two story brick building 68 by 94 feet will be constructed and operations are planned to begin by October 1. Mr and Mrs Willard Stephenson move to Goshen and Don K Stephenson will relocate next week to run the enterprise. Verne Stephenson will stay in Goshen to oversee affairs before returning to South Bend High School.

A. E. Keith closes a deal with G. F. Alderman to take over the Hotel Hascall bus and baggage line with immediate possession. He gains two buses two horses and the hotel dray.
