The Si mon Essig family held its 22nd annual reunion Thursday at the home of Mr and Mrs Clayton Struble southeast of Goshen with 125 attendees. Officers elected for two years include President Frank Essig Vice President T L Conrad and Secretary Treasurer Mrs Clayton Struble. The oldest member was Polly Neff aged 89. Trains Passed Through Goshen Last Night. Three train loads of troops passed through Goshen en route from New York to spruce woods in the northwest. Stephen Evans in Millersburg Barber Shop Suffered Stroke. Condition Improved.

Traction Wire Incident Shocks Teamster Near Springbrook Park
John Spencer, a teamster for Hoffman Construction Co, was severely shocked yesterday afternoon when a traction wire fell near Springbrook park. One horse died from electrocution and another was badly burned. The damaged gear included a 6 volt 80 amp battery, three 32 by 34 inner tubes, two electric signal horns, and a Model 81 Overland.
