The War Department discloses plans to draft 900 000 to 1 500 000 of the 10 000 000 men who register under the draft act with 625 000 to serve immediately. Aged County Resident Dies After Pneumonia in Middlebury
Daniel Schrock aged 12 died yesterday afternoon at four at the home of his daughter Mrs William Pletcher in Middlebury where he had lived for about three years. He had suffered a severe pneumonia, was in critical condition, and his death was expected. He previously farmed in Clinton township and lived in retirement. Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 10 o'clock from Clinton Brick church.
