Isaac Schrock nearly 70, a carpenter of 501 South Eighth Street, suffered serious internal injuries after falling about 20 feet from the steep Brenneman residence roof at 122 Crescent Street. He struck a porch, rolled onto old shingles, and was found unconscious and semi conscious. Dr. Ash treated cuts and chest lump as his condition remained grave. Clarence Locke of Lewisburg, Ohio, who injured his eye in a cartridge explosion, is improving after surgery.

Secretary Harry of the State Board of Health says three tons of the 80 tons of daily butter sold in Indiana are adulterated. The Chicago firm supplies the product made from starch gelatine neutral fat and milk. Though harmless it costs four cents a pound yet the poorest butter sells for 15 cents. The board cannot act due to lack of laboratory and funds for analysis.
