Wire Across Driveway Tears Top Off Wagon
A Big Four telegraph gang stretched a cross driveway wire near Lake Shore station on East Lincoln avenue. The United States Express wagon had its canvas top torn off and driver Charles McCamsey escaped injury by inches. The horse reared but halted near the station. An electrical accident occurred as Hawke Light wires were crossed, injuring a lineman. Repairs demanded immediately.

Interurban Car Strikes Horse in Mishawaka
An east bound interurban car driven by Motorman Ed Boyle and Conductor Will Bartlemay hit a fractious horse that bolted from a bakery wagon as it turned through Mishawaka. The horse suffered a broken leg and was shot to end its suffering. the wagon occupants escaped unharmed.
