Farmer Ends His Life in Despondent Health Outlook
Adam Fullmer a 78 year old farmer living four miles northeast of Nappanee hanged himself in his barn using a halter rope. He had suffered paralysis since spring affecting farm tasks and was described as despondent. Survived by his wife three sons in Michigan and a son and daughter in Nebraska. Funeral set for Saturday at 9 a.m. at the home and 10 a.m. at Morningstar church. Burial in Shaum's cemetery. His wife found the body after two sisters and wife arrived nearby.

Gentry Show in Town Delights Crowds at Unloading
The Gentry Dog and Pony show arrived from South Bend on the Lake Shore at 6 30 this morning in four coaches and three flat cars. A large crowd welcomed the unloading at Seventh street foot and the parade rolled through the business district at 11 with twin bands and a lively calliope. Ping-pong the baby elephant, 39 inches tall and 376 pounds, is a featured act along with about 100 ponies and fifty dogs. The Hoosier Gentrys, wintering in Bloomington, run four shows with Eddie Jackson of Goshen joining one. Charles F. Allen manages the day’s show and W. H. Tabor handles press work. C. W. Davis, a Gentry Brothers manager, rose from a prior bum company to a trusted showman. Tents sit at Seventh and Reynolds. tonight the canvas will be packed before the troupe heads to Sandusky Ohio.
