In Warsaw on July 13 William Davis a farmer died after taking car bolic acid. A four year old Baney Peter Baney from Indianapolis is missing and authorities describe a man as a person of interest. The Under Sheriff in Denver reports a restaurant owner Henry Chatten sending out toothpicks printed Eat at Chatten's. Homer Freeman once reported dead is alive and living in Chicago.
Elk heart county Democrats celebrate ratification of the Kansas City ticket with Dr Bower as congress nominee. John Kern and K F Shively address crowds amid tempered Republican praise. Social and civic notices fill Goshen area with parties, gatherings, and a large Modern Samaritans event planned for August 19.

William P. Pearce officiating. Also, Samuel Scoles 56 died at his son Louis Scoles home seven miles west of Elkhart at 9 PM yesterday. Funeral Sunday at 10:30 AM. Mrs Barbara Scoles died June 15 at 31. Samuel Scoles came from Ohio in 1315 and later settled in Elkhart County, described as a successful farmer.
