Brace of Bad Accidents In Goshen Rubber Works
A series of local mishaps unfolded yesterday as Arthur Goines 19 suffered severe hand injuries at Goshen Rubber Works when his hand was caught between rollers. Gordon Wurstler 13 was burned after grabbing a live electric wire while guiding cows near Hotel Hascall. Dewey Lewis 4 received minor powder burns during a cart ridge explosion scare. Both youth cases were treated. no fatalities reported.

About twenty zoo patrons witnessed Queen the African python swallow a live chicken after it was tossed into her den. The snake encoiled and crushed the fowl and began swallowing feathers and all, in a slow digestion process that lasted about twenty five minutes while the keeper reported the animal being lazy during digestion.
