A telegram announcing the sad death was received by C A Harper this morning. The remains will be shipped to Goshen Friday and interred in Oak Ridge cemetery. A S Gross was a crockery dealer in this city and located in Anderson about ten years ago. The deceased is remembered by northern city youth. He waded into the river and drowned before a hundred spectators who could not help him.
