Fire fills Walker's saloon as chimney melts and smoke spreads
At about two this afternoon smoke filled Walker's saloon and the north wall chimney casing began melting burning paper and woodwork. The fire was quickly extinguished by the barkeeper and bystanders. Had it occurred at night the entire building could have burned.
