Clinton Bemenderfer Dead at 20 in Kalamazoo
Clinton Bemenderfer aged 20 died suddenly at 11:30 p.m. after a brief pneumonia illness at the home of his parents Mr. and Mrs. Charles Bemenderfer in Kalamazoo Michigan. He is survived by his parents and one brother Hugh. He had worked in Goshen at his father’s bicycle shop and garage and later as a chauffeur for Ford Automobile Co in Kalamazoo. He spent months in Europe touring with Detroit capitalists before returning to visit Goshen in November. His parents and George Bemenderfer and Mrs. W. H. Rood were at his bedside.

Orville Roy Hoffman aged 18 son of John Hoffman of Bremen died in the navy hospital in Philadelphia where he was ill with typhoid fever. He enlisted in 1907 in South Bend, trained at Newport Rhode Island and served on the S S Mississippi. His body was sent to Bremen for burial.
