Members of the association are recorded as meeting here again on February 11. The notice lists dates filed for Fairsch Norind and So Sch eirguit and notes continued gathering in the local meeting place.
The Northern Indiana and Southern Michigan Fair Circuit reorganized for 1915 with F C Mano and J J Mecum of Laporte elected president and secretary. Dates for 1915 fairs set across the circuit including Goshen Aug 31 to Sept 3 and other towns with a Goshen meeting Feb 11 to discuss speed programs and county fair matters.
A miniature blizzard caused noticeable snowfall and slight traffic interruptions. Mail delays occurred and interurban cars ran behind schedule, while several major trains on the New York Central stayed on time. The weather bureau forecasts more snow.
Funeral services for A P Boyer head of Goshen Manufacturing Company will be held at his home 312 South Sixth Street at 2 30 p m Saturday. Five employees will attend in a body leaving the plant at 2 p m. Rev I A Vannuys of the First Presbyterian Church will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. today at Trinity Lutheran Church with Rev. J. H. Schmidt officiating. A large attendance witnessed pallbearers led by ten employees of Hinderer Ice Co. Burial followed at Oak Ridge Cemetery.
Mrs Cornelia S Bolts formerly of Fort Wayne died in Knightstown from injuries suffered in a runaway. Her husband Captain Boltz, also badly hurt, may die.
Local report states Jerry Kratz and his pet dog owned by Miss Rachael Kratz were euthanized after an unverified procedure. Dr. Arpioti administered the drug. The event occurred at Nappanee with unclear surrounding details.
The Indiana State Tax Commission will start nine meetings on February 8 across the state to help county and township tax assessors prepare for the annual listing beginning March 1. Commissioners Eden H. Wolcott James A. Houck and Dr T D Scales will visit Goshen and other cities urging attendance at instructional sessions for newly elected assessors.
Thomas Conrad aged 41, rooming with his mother at the Geo Abdon residence, was fatally shot by a highwayman who leaped from behind a tree and demanded money as he stepped onto a sidewalk after leaving a theater. He is in a dying condition at St Joseph's hospital.

Jas McKibben a Jackson township farmer with liabilities of 16397.44 and assets of 88732 faced the first creditors hearing this morning at the Deahl and Desh office. Sol A Wood of Fort Wayne acted as referee. Richard Vanderveer of Milford was elected trustee by about 20 creditors. Examination of McKibben was postponed to Feb 9 at Deahl and Deal office.
Ed Anglemeyer known as Wakarusa Jack tells Elkhart police he was not in town the night a brick shattered a Trinity M. E. church window during a benefit concert. Despite the claimed alibi he is detained for further investigation.
Repair crews will fix police dispatch boxes across the business district and at other locations. Night officers rely on these boxes to report rounds. Several new boxes will be installed and a possible whole system upgrade planned. Fire alarm boxes will also be modernized.
Eldon L. Barringer and Julie Mitchner of Garrett Ind were married at the home of Perry Olayton on Third Street January 21 with Rev. J A Wood officiating. The couple will establish a home in Garrett.
John Smeltzer, an employee at the Copper Bros. & Zook plant, sustained a badly mutilated right hand after it was caught in a boring machine. He received medical care following the incident.
The Kelly Garage sold a new Ford touring car to BL F. B Hartzog of Goshen.
A British steamer was sunk by a submarine with the entire crew saved. The incident prompted rescue of the remaining crew aboard the ship Mans was not clearly connected in the report.

The Citizens League of Indiana issues an official program for a state conference on the proposed Indiana constitution. The gathering, in the Washington Hotel assembly room at Indianapolis, opens at 10 a.m. Tuesday with speakers Fred I. King J B Wilson and W H Eichhorn. Evening speakers include Theodore F. Thieme, Clayton Johnson, Ross F. Lockridge, Dr W I Stone, and U S Senator Robert L Owen. Several 18th district representatives will attend.
Josephine Cathcart files suit for divorce from John Cathcart in superior court at Elkhart alleging cruelty and infidelity. They married February 1 1912 and separated January 12 1914, with Bristol as their residence. She seeks alimony of 1000 and cites his ownership of real estate up to 8000 and personal property valued at 900.

Gran Susannah Gran 81 died at her Nappanee home. Funeral at 1L a.m. tomorrow at the Church of the Brethren in Nappanee with burial at South Union. Cetil Shidler two months old son of Newton J. Shidler died of pneumonia at the Shidler home Elkheart. Survived by parents and six siblings.
Sixty one Democratic members met in Indianapolis on January 22 to decide on making the bill a caucus measure. The vote was 23 for and 17 against, with the decision to not pursue passage today and not compel militia members to a caucus agreement.

Mrs Abbie Wentworth longtime Englewood High School art teacher and 20 year Wawasee summer resident died at her Chicago home. Dr Allison Maxwell, a prominent Wawasee resorter and charter Syracuse Water Power Co member, died in Methodist Hospital Indianapolis.

The senate committee on Roads will postpone three bills, including Rinears repeal of highway bonds, Varkaunsens license fees to county treasuries, and Jacksons bond cap change from 4 to 2 percent. The Public Health committee will back Clarke’s housing law tightening measure.
A likely top season comedy The Misleading Lady is set for Monday night at the Jefferson theatre on January 25. The farce centers on a deceitful romance that leads to comic escapades with a restless lunatic posing as Napoleon and a dramatic Adirondack lodge chase scene.

Five members of the graduating class completed the required work as the term ended with final examinations yesterday. They will not receive diplomas until June when the remainder of the class graduates.
