Sudden death at Elkhart as Edward Dempsey dies at noon
Edward Dempsey a 37 year old Elkhart bartender died suddenly of heart disease in Elkhart today after falling ill at Tracey’s saloon around 11 am. He was moved to his South Main street room and expired 45 minutes later. He came from South Bend where his wife and child live and had worked for several local saloonkeepers.
