Studebaker Works Fire Damages Engine Room
A 20 ton fly wheel in the Studebaker Works carriage department burned early today. The wheel 50 inches wide and 24 feet in diameter served a 600 horsepower engine and unroofed the engine room. Engineer Henry Supey escaped injury as he was outside the building. Plant shutdown will delay orders.

City of Louisville Burned in Dock at St Joe
The lake steamer City of Louisville owned by Graham & Morton burned in dock at 4 a m and was completely destroyed. A watchman is missing and believed burned or drowned.
