Oratorical Contest Planned for Late March at High School

Pease John Frank Pease Dies at 65 in Elkhart
John Frank Pease aged 65 died Monday evening at his Elkhart home from brain trouble after a stroke three years earlier. A railroad man who fired on the first Air Line locomotive from Elkhart to Goshen he served in the Bloody Ninth during the Civil War. Funeral set for Wednesday at 2 30 p m. Viola Eby aged 44 wife of William Eby died at her Union Michigan home last night survived by husband and two children.

Amselme, wife of the Quaker doctor, reports a telegram from Beebe Ark saying the husband was not hurt in a wreck en route to Holy Springs. Dr. Amselme departed Elkhart Sunday night.
