The Rev Carmichael of Michigan killed Gideon Brown at Battle Run Church in Carthage Iowa and later took his own life after leaving a confession. A letter in Carmichael's packet claims Brown hypnotically influenced him, and states he dismembered the body and burned remains. He changed clothes twice, first in Chicago then in Carthage before dying at 12 45 this afternoon.
