Young Boy Hurt by Goshen Car
Clair Lemmon eight year old son of Mr and Mrs Lemmon of Elkhart suffered a fracture of a small bone in his right foot and numerous bruises yesterday afternoon when struck by an automobile driven by William Bandelier of Goshen. The motorist is held blameless.
Farmers Mutual reports heard in Elkhart County meeting
About 200 members of the Elkhart County Farmers Mutual Aid Association met in Stonewall and re-elected officers: President J J Zollinger. Vice President J F Keerner. Secretary Warren S Cline. Treasurer Charles A Pooley. Directors will also write for Hoosier Cyclone Insurance. The association reports a treasury around 14 0000 and average insurance costs about 22 cents per $10. Fire losses last year were about 45 000. Rate reductions were approved for fire and cyclone insurance, while a building risk reduction was defeated. Directors and officers were entertained at the Alder nan hotel by Amasa G Hoover.

Farmer Arrested After Booze Raid Near Goshen
Orville T. Sones, 32, of Goshen area, was arrested after a federal and ElkHart police raid found 19 gallons of moonshine 70-gallon still and 14 barrels of mash on his farm.
