Harriet Tallerday longtime Osolo township resident and widow of Austin Tallerday died at Rest Cottage Elk Hart Saturday aged 187 years six months. She was born August 15 1821 in Onondaga County New York and came west with her parents in 1837. Survivors include two sons Harvey and Jefferson of Elkhart, sisters Elizabeth Roswell and Mrs. George Rich of Elkhart, Willard Rich of Goshen, brothers Hawa and Chauncey Dills of Plymouth. Funeral services were held at Rest Cottage Sunday afternoon conducted by Rev. F. T. Simpson.
