Brimfield Indiana December 27 Burton Tryon residing a mile north of here was struck by a heavy timber while working in a woodland. A stick hit his neck and jaw causing an ugly wound and several teeth to be knocked out. John W Robison 59 of Council Bluffs Iowa died Saturday afternoon five sisters and his mother survive. He left Elkhart last spring and his body will be brought there for burial.

Capt. C. F. Healey assistant city engineer of Chicago and a former Goshen resident died this morning in Michael Reese hospital Chicago from acute appendicitis after surgery. He attended Goshen High during the war and Kathryn Healey is a local school graduate. The family has many friends.

Drowning of Goshen Student After Ice Breaks on Elkhart River

Wise 82 Is Injured When Buggy Hit By Train
