Ludlum S. Miller 76, a Civil War veteran and Howell Post No. 90 G A R member, died yesterday at 4 45 a m at his son's home in Goshen after a two year illness. He is survived by two sons, Harry C. Miller of Goshen and Vern Miller of Marion, a half brother John Oaks of Warrensburg Missouri, and was long a noted Goshen resident born in Fort Wayne. His family moved from Memphis to Goshen 47 years ago after living in Memphis following service. His wife died in Goshen 21 years ago on June 7 18 07.
