Narrow Escape of Capt Boughter at Big Four Depot
Captain Boughter, a veteran Big Four conductor and former city resident, narrowly avoided being killed yesterday at the Big Four station. As the southbound train departed, he grabbed a car grab iron and was dragged ten rods before the train stopped. He fell outward unharmed, with praise from ticket agent Ed Becker for his miraculous escape.
