Ed P. Hammond Jr. a Lafayette attorney and son of Judge Hammond, was killed at Roachdale when he fell between Monon train coaches. Abraham Garber of Clinton township died at 1:50 this morning of pneumonia aged 77 years 9 months 17 days. Born March 9 1520 in Lancaster PA he moved forty nine years ago to the Clinton farm where he lived. He and his wife had 14 children ten living all married. A son David in Idaho will miss the funeral. The funeral Thursday at 10:30 from the Mennonite church near the old home will be led by Rev Andrew Shank of Missouri and D Y Lehman.
