The program included prayers by Rev. M J Mayor and J S Sumwalt, music by Roscoe's orchestra and city choirs, and a $53.36 collection for the poor led by Charles J Garvin.

Narrow-escape as buggy overturns near race injures three women
Last night near Plymouth avenue bridge a buggy driven by Ada Herr overturned on the race bank. Miss Storer fell into the water and was rescued after multiple attempts by Guy Lichtenwalter, George Cutler, Fay Lichtenwalter, and Pearl Wiseman with help from Ex-Sheriff C. E. Thompson. Ada Herr and Helen Herr were bruised and later treated. Herr later reported with a hip injury.

Knife fossilized in Milford lumber log discovered
A butcher knife, twelve feet up a log from Milford lumber mill, was found embedded two inches beneath the bark after a saw struck the metal. The log came from Joseph Haney’s woods near Milford Junction and the knife had been there years, showing the tree grew around it.

The Imperial orchestra plans a dance at McNaughton hall next Tuesday evening December 7. Invitations to prior dances are extended to all who were invited before. A half dollar dated 1809 was offered to Conductor George Miller on a city streetcar as payment for a five cent fare.
