Fred Upham Republican national treasurer testified before the Senate committee on campaign expenditures. He listed 12 598 contributors with an average of 82.11 and a planned disbursement of 3 079 037 20. State totals were shown with Indiana at 13553.05 2202.88 national and 11150.20 state. Eleven states received help. Nevada and New Hampshire spent all locally.
