Samuel D. Stutzman 79 a native of Elkhart county and Goshen resident died at his home 112 West Jefferson street after months of illness. Born December 25 1842 on Elkhart prairie he was married twice first to Ellen Toms then Anna Nusbaum. Survived by daughter Mrs Harris Oppenheim and son F A Stutzman along with several siblings and a wide circle of relatives. Funeral services are set for tomorrow at 2:50 at the Church of the Brethren with Rev T B George officiating. burial will be in Oak Ridge cemetery.

Floend Kronk of Nappanee pleaded guilty in Justice Whisler's court to assault with intent to commit rape and was bound over to the circuit court.
