Death of Goshen Fireman on Hawks Plant Duty
William H Fleck 46 of 401 Wilson avenue died at Goshen hospital after injuries from a duty incident at the Hawks Electric company plant. He was caught in a pulley of the force draft engine in the boiler room and died after being unconscious. destroyed skull base and extensive injuries. Surviving are wife Clara Cripe, three children, his parents and three brothers. The company investigates with liability insurance and workers compensation to follow.

Mishawaka Man Dies After Auto Train Collision
F M Sickafouse of Mishawaka died at St. Josephs hospital from injuries suffered July 16 when the car carrying eight people was struck by a southbound Big Pour passenger train at Leesburg. He earlier received care at McDonald hospital in Warsaw before transfer to St. Josephs. The wreck caused a wrenched back a fractured leg and internal injuries believed to be fatal.

Two Motorcycle Brothers In Wreck Near Ligonier
Charles Sunday of Trenton New Jersey fatally injured and his brother George Sunday seriously hurt when their motorcycle on the Chicago to Trenton trip struck a pole at a sharp turn on the Lincoln highway near Stone's hill three miles southeast of Ligonier. They are at Dr Lane hospital as parents head to the scene. Charles suffered a torn scalp fractured skull and broken nose. George has severe bruises and possible internal injuries. Both were traveling at high speed and failed to see the turn. Stone's hill is noted as dangerous. A separate note reports three year old Edgar Robinson recovering after being struck by an automobile in Goshen.
