Croop Qualifies as Deputy Treasurer in Indiana
Charles A. Croop, deputy county treasurer under the late Ed ward E. Drake, was today qualified to fill the unexpired term ending January 1, 1907. He filed a $500,000 bond signed by nine sureties with sworn statements valuing at least $340,000. Governor Frank Hanly’s commission arrived from Indianapolis and Croop was sworn in by County Clerk Kinney as the county treasurer’s office opened for business.

Auto Mobilist Stops Team And Spurs Excitement
