An Associated Press wireless despatch from Vienna claims Roumanians will depart Budapest following the peace conference vote sent to Romania. The Vienna press reports the move as published in The Vienna newspapers.
A blaze threatened Van Wert Ohio when smoking cigarettes ignited the old John Pennell livery stable, now converted to a garage. Fire crews responded quickly to control the flames and prevent spread to nearby structures.
William Ulery, father of Chehaa Ulery, files a civil action in the St. Joseph Superior Court at South Bend seeking 10000 damages from Robert HL Bersey for alleged wrongdoing involving his son. The case was instituted recently in the court.

Ten musk melons and two watermelons from Noel and 30 watermelons from Paulus were seized. The youths pleaded guilty and paid fines totaling about 12 dollars each, with melons retained by authorities. In Columbia City sugar worth 50 000 pounds owned by C D Kenny Co was found in storage and not hoarded, leading to a price drop of three cents per pound locally.
