Ermest Zinn of Peru, a young clerk, is bound over to the circuit court in Goshen on a 300 bond for stealing cash and clothing from his employer Sam Crowl in Elkhart. None of his friends will post bail. his mother is unable to help, and relatives in Peru have been notified.
Last evening at 715 South Main street Miss Es tella Boulton and Mr. John Wesley Jones of Chicago wed in a Lutheran ring ceremony performed by Rev. Merrill E. Boulton. The couple left for South Bend and Lake Michigan before settling in Chicago next year. Guests from out of town included W F Crowley and C C Burriss, among others. A later note records Katharine Gardner's marriage to Charles Lehman at 317 South Main, with the couple to live on Wilkinson Street. Also mentioned are a foreclosure suit by Perry L. Turner for Warren Irvin and the incorporation of W H Mann Lumber Co of Elkhart with 100000 capital. The English Lutheran church picnicked at the Elkhart strand with an interurban car chartered for about eighty members.
Elkhart maps he was jailed for 60 days for stealing the Grove horse near Wakatusa. He was arrested for stealing an animal at Bremen but released on a technicality. He now awaits trial in Peru and is linked to several recent ho rses thefts. Officials think he led an organized gang, but he has refused to confess.
Former Goshen boy Ed J. Miller owner of the Favorite tonsorial parlors in Elkhart Ind adds a seventh chair to his plant. He arrived two years ago and bought out the four chair shop at 215 South Main Street from partner Bert Reafanyder. The Favorite remains the only Elkhart shop with compressed air along with steam shampoo and a shower bath facility.
The South Bend Tribune notes H. H. McIntire, once of Milford, patented a photo printer and is suspected to have left Milford with many unpaid debts. An artist by trade, he is tied to a company forming to manufacture the device with interest from Ex-Mayor Colfax, Mayor Mix of Mishawaka, Clement Studebaker, and Arthur Kennedy.
A Chicago report claims the Annie Oakley seen in recent coverage is an impostor, not the genuine sharpshooter, who is identified as Mrs. Frank N. Butler living in Nutley New York. Hart in a car crash and George Richaby city editor of the Benton Harbor Post, along with Ed Beeler, Benton Harbor resident, were seriously injured in separate automobile accidents. Rogers band plans to perform at Win Assembly again next year.
Warrants were sent to all National Guard company and battery commanders and regimental officers for nine days of camp pay. The total pay rolls amount to 20 71 and will be sent to Washington for warrants to be drawn against a 29 000 Indiana treasury appropriation. The government owes soldiers about 15 825. Capt Pease of 6 G received his check yesterday. Fascett A Cotton plans continued inspections of county institutes this week and permanent society formation. Fort Wayne actress Heesie Baldwin to join Henrietta Croseman’s company in As You Like It. Julia Marie will support S Miller Kent in Fighting Bob.
About 80 relatives gathered on the Island in Elkhart for a Kreighbaum reunion yesterday. Several attendees plan to join the main reunion in Stark County Ohio next week. Funeral services for Edgar D. Carrier set for tomorrow at 9 in S J John's Catholic Church with Father Fitzpatrick officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
About 275 Goshen residents attended the Goshen City band excursion to Winona Park to hear the Creatore band. Attendance by town and nearby areas totaled 69 from Elkhart, 30 from New Paris, 100 from Milford, and 10 from Leesburg. The audience roared for encores and Verdi night featured most pieces by Verdi. Creatore conducted with marked energy and memory, drawing strong praise for his magnetic directing. Tomorrow’s Wagner night offers a chance for more Goshen fans to travel by train, with details coordinated by J. M. Ober, Big Four agent.

Franz wed Winifred Patton last night in Battle Creek.
The Big Four railroad announces a traffic agreement with the Wareaw and Winona interurban line to transfer passengers and baggage directly to Winona Lake Park. A Big Four station is built in the park with orange branding. Travel to Warsaw ends as baggage moves to trolley cars. Plans include broader Winona promotion and a permanent Pennsylvania station at Winona.
The Armour interests form a shipping trust for peaches from Michigan and levy a tribute per car ranging from 15 to 40 dollars. Growers protest while Chicago commission men cheer the higher rates, arguing it will boost shipper reliance on boats and tighten Boston markets.
