The 55 year old Conrad Neale of Anderson and former Muncie resident was found in Eagle Lake at Winona with a one foot diameter sandstone rock tied to his neck by a linen handkerchief. The death is being treated as either suicide or murder. A plumber's estimate book and $2.07 in change were found on him. He had accompanied 600 others from Anderson on a Winona excursion.
