A 23 year old Elyria man identified as I Reichendien jumped from a Lake Shore westbound train window near Elkhart early this morning. He sustained a deep neck gash and facial injuries but is expected to recover. He carried about $100, said he was tired of life, and a letter from Salt Lake City was found. Police consider possible mental distress and seek relatives. He is hospitalized at Clark hospital in Elkhart.
