Frank Jones a 60 year old painter from Middlebury was killed when a scaffold he stood on collapsed at Main street in Middlebury. He fell fifteen feet and died shortly after at Dr Farrer’s office of a fractured skull and internal injuries. Initial reports confused victim with Frank Neff of Middlebury baker. Coroner Mast not called. Officers Wise and Leachman found two Syracuse youths asleep in a car on Lusher Avenue after an abandoned automobile incident nearby.
