Boy saved from flames as toddler burns threaten life
A two year old child of Edward Morris was set alight near a bonfire and burned seriously. A 17 year old bystander sprang to help and prevented fatal injuries. The child’s condition remains critical and may prove fatal.

This morning a team of spirited horses attached to I H Simmons delivery wagon ran away from North Fifth street.
