House Fire Kills Woman in Montana Farm Home
Eva May Morton of Winona Minnesota married J A Hawks and moved to nine miles south of town. Mrs Hawks 42 died after an explosion and fire at their home. The loss of the house and belongings exceeded $3 000. The couple's adopted son survived as neighbors attended the scene. funeral at Congregational church Saturday at 2 30 p m with Rev Walker.

Old Soldier William T. Gregory Dies at 78
William T. Gregory, 78, former Milwaukee soldier home from the soldier's home, died peacefully in his Beach shack after breakfast reading. His son from Huron, South Dakota, attended the funeral at M E church. He was brother to John and Herman Gregory of Brentzer and remembered by many old soldiers in the city. Mrs. L B Westby and children returned from Wisconsin with a fine driving horse shipped here.

Fatal Accident at Glendive man crushed by freight train
Daley a stranger in Glendive died at Northern Pacific hospital after an attempt to board a moving freight near the yard office. He ran up from Merrill Avenue, grabbed a car ladder, fell, and was crushed. Witnesses believed intoxication contributed to the accident. he died without regaining consciousness.

Fallon County Seat Vote Set Amid County Formation

Edward J. Berry a leading Glendive citizen and Hotel Jordan proprietor died in Miles City at 3 25 pm after a brief illness during the Custer County fair harness race. His horse Cornelia Mack crossed the wire while he suddenly collapsed and began bleeding. assistance rushed him to the Olive Hotel room where he expired amid efforts to revive him.

Return of Glendive man delayed by illness and death
A large Glendive delegation escorted the body of Mr. Berry from Miles City after a sudden illness. Born in Wahoma Wisconsin in 1861 he married Theokla Drewson and later ran a hotel in Glendive. The body traveled by train to join family rooms ahead of the funeral with services planned.
