Two Hunters Injured in Field Accident
Elmer Farnum and John Kolkman were accidentally shot by Oliver Olson while all three waited for chickens in a field. Farnum suffered facial injuries and Kolkman breast and stomach wounds. both were treated in the city the next day. Olson fired from behind bushes about seventy five yards away.

D W Johnson Passes Away At 70 In Iowa Family Home
D W Johnson father of Mrs H M Horney died last Sunday at his daughter's home east of the city. He was 70 and died of general debility. The remains were taken to Osceola, where he formerly resided. Born in Vermont, he moved to Iowa years ago where other family live.
