Death of Herbert Carmichael in Dickinson Fest
Herbert Carmichael, a 44 year old farmer from near Beach, died at Dickinson Fest hospital after a few days with typhoid fever. His wife had just given birth to a baby boy last Saturday. Funeral services were held in Mead under Odd Fellows auspices. He is survived by his widow and four children. Mrs Bauman and son left for Bancroft Nebr to attend a telegram note of her mother’s death. C A Burns returned from visits with his sons in Underwood and Hartland, reporting poor crops this year.

School land sale in Billings county set for January 26
The land sale will be at Medora on January 26, with 90 descriptions in Golden Valley, township ranges 187 south to 142 north and 104, 105, 106. Two Robbers Attack Beach Residents Near Dickinson
Victims Prank Quale and Werte man, threshers living south of town, were assaulted by two unknown men.
