Jay L Jordan a well known farmer of the Golden Valley area died Wednesday morning at Dickinson hospital following an abscess of the stomach that led to peritonitis. He was fifty one, born in Ohio and moved to this state in 1907. Survived by wife Mrs C R Johnson, Mrs Clarence Steele, Fred Nora Clarence and Gerald Jordan, Mrs M E Banker. A meeting at Beach opera house Saturday November 17 at 8 15 p m will organize a local dramatic club.

Carlyle Townsite Owner John Bloom Dies Suddenly
John Bloom owner of the Carlyle townsite died suddenly last night at home after an attack of acute gastritis. He was 45, born in Black River Falls Wisconsin, and had lived in Hurley South Dakota Savage Montana Carlyle. He and his wife owned Carlyle real estate and planned development this summer. He leaves a wife and two sisters in South Dakota. Remains to be taken to Hurley South Dakota for burial.

Large Ranch Changes Hands Near Beach in Dunn County
The Frank Keen ranch of 5400 acres, north of Beach, sold last week for 38000 to Oswald Bros. of Dunn County. They plan to move onto the property in spring with 300 Hereford cattle and operate a modern, first class stock farm with full conveniences. Attorney Koeppler represented the estate. Edward Keen was the executor. Oswald Bros. are acquaintances of rival rancher J. H. Moore.
