Feast of the Little Lanterns at the Opera House
A city school girls troupe presented The Feast of the Little Lanterns a Chinese operetta in two acts under Miss Alice Kohlars. Irene Eide Eleanor Wall Silas McColeman and Freda Frank led the cast with a twenty one strong chorus in Chinese costume and lanterns. The production showcased notable talent with elaborate makeup and Oriental stage design followed by a prologue and two acts highlighting Princess Chan’s sorrow and the Feast’s celebration.
