A deal closed to convert the Dunean Cooper residence north of the Russell Miller elevator into a twelve bed hospital. Miss Amelia Swanson and Miss Hanna Peterson, nurses from St. Paul, with local doctors and druggists, plan to open by April 1 after remodeling. Architect N. A. Freeberg of Mandan designed Bartley block plans. The Beach High School basketball team lost to Glendive 24 to 20, a game praised by spectator Clarence Noyes.

John Malling a farmer living near Rocky Butte died Saturday at 9 15 PM after years with Brights disease. He moved to Golden Valley two years ago seeking health. His wife Mrs Malling of Minneapolis notified and traveled there Monday. Embalmed body sent to Minneapolis for burial.
