Postmasters are notified that 1-cent postage stamps will be issued in book form beginning about March 1, 1907. Each book will contain twenty four stamps in four sheets of six, interleaved with paraffin paper and bound like the 2-cent stamp books, at a price of 25 cents per book. A representative of the Colean Manufacturing company sold two steam plow rigs this week, one to L. Rob erty and the other to Messrs Olson and Peterson.
A $400,000 land transaction in Bismarck saw Senators L. B. Hanna and George Palmer along with ex-Secretary of State Porter sell the Carrangan and Casey farm in Foster County to the Ransom County Immigration Association of Shelton, led by Senator Pierce. About 2,000 acres stay with Palmer as his personal farm. the remainder, including Bordulac, will be subdivided and colonized.
